Hotels
Participants can either stay in Downtown Copenhagen and commute using
public transport to get to DTU or stay in Lyngby.
There are some hotels in Lyngby within a 20-minute walk of DTU.
Copenhagen has more choice concerning hotels, restaurants,
bars, etc.
The connection to Lyngby is very good. There are
buses and S-trains around the clock in both directions.
In particular, travel between downtown Copenhagen and the DTU campus takes
approximately 45 minutes by public transportation.

Scandic Eremitage
Located in central Lyngby, 120 rooms. Quite
expensive. Approx. DKK 850 to DKK 1300 for a night.
A 20-minute walk or 5 minutes by bus to DTU.
Basic
Hotel Fortunen
Small
local, quiet hotel. Nicely located at the entrance of the Erimitagen deer park,
there are only a few buses. Walking time to DTU approx 20
minutes.

Hotel Postgaarden
is on the main street in Lyngby (it is also a pub –
more or less the only place in Lyngby to get a drink). Very
basic!

Hotels in Downtown Copenhagen
If you decide to stay in the center of Copenhagen it is most convenient to choose a hotel close to one of the following three stations: Nørreport station, Vesterport station, and Københaven H (main train station).

Youth hostel. Sharing rooms. Best choices:

As the name says, downtown. About 850m walking distance from Nørreport station.
Midrange

Very close to Nørreport station (about 350m).

Hotel Danmark
Situated near the City Hall Square
(Rådhuspladsen), close to the main train station
(about 700m). Free internet.
Hotel Fox
Hotel Fox is

artists. It is situated in the city centre only a few
minutes walk from the City Hall Square and close to
